"Infected generation" - I wrote a poem a year ago during the first lockdown highlighting how the media ignited much racism within people and caused a generalised racism to anyone who was asian. This piece is representative of that poem highlighting how the younger generation are moulded from birth to be racist by the hands of the media, the uterus bag bursting and pouring into the hills of china is also representative of our UK COVID death toll, how many people were blaming china for our mounting deaths. Whilst the roofs of the buildings can be read from two different perspectives highlighting how many things that were said were lies and often racist.

"Perfection" I drew this still life in pencil, I titled it perfection as It displays the constant issue many creatives face not feeling fulfilled within our ideas. The crumpled paper displays my constant disregard for ideas and frustration through the burst paint, whilst the dying plant highlights the negligence to my own health and those around me. However my wabi sabi inspired pot reminds me of the beauty of imperfection, embracing the process, something I have improved greatly upon over the last year.
